Behind the curtain

Our little press is having growing pains: so much happens “behind the curtain” on a day-to-day basis that affects how well or efficiently we operate, and I keep thinking that, if we only had more transparency–if folks could “see” the daily workings and know that, even though (for instance) the chapbooks they ordered are taking way longer to arrive than expected, we here at Seven Kitchens are working hard in myriad ways to keep moving ahead, keep serving up the best chapbooks we can. So this is my attempt to lift that curtain. And yes, that was an awfully long sentence.
