Professor of English at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, he is the book columnist of Great Lakes Life Magazine, makes frequent appearances in the book pages of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and lives in Erie with his wife, the visual artist Katherine Knupp, and their son, Dylan.
