New titles selected: Nelson, Belott [Robin Becker Series]
We are delighted to announce that our Series Editor, Steve Bellin-Oka, has selected two chapbooks for publication in the Robin Becker Series: Lowercase Gods by Christopher Nelson, and Night Terrors by Dana Belott. Christopher Nelson is the author of Blood Aria (University of Wisconsin Press, 2021)
and five chapbooks, including Blue House, winner of a Poetry Society of America
Fellowship, and Love Song for the New World (Seven Kitchens Press, 2019). A
recipient of the Amy Lowell Traveling Scholarship and a Jacob K. Javits Fellowship, he
is the founding editor of Green Linden Press, a nonprofit publisher dedicated to poetic
excellence and reforestation. He has edited two anthologies, Essential Voices: Poetry of
Iran and Its Diaspora, which received a Midwest Book Award, and Essential Queer

Dana Belott is a trans poet, multidisciplinary artist, and teacher from woodsy NJ. Their work explores ghosts, queer desire, and the body. Dana received their MFA from Pratt Institute after 5 years teaching creative writing in middle and high schools. They have published over 50 volumes of their students’ writing and are dedicated to art-making as a community practice.

It’s a thrill to announce more new titles in our Editor’s Series. As you know, we’re about to release In the Outlaw’s House by Christina Pacosz and Arrow by Bruce Bond this month as the 9th and 10th title in Volume 3 of the series. These will be followed by #11, Trevor Ketner’s Negative of a Photo of Fire and #12, Diane Scholl’s Salt, both due out in March. Also in March, we’ll launch Volume 4 with Christopher Nelson’s Love Song to the New World. Then, in June (drumroll, please?), we’ll publish Edison Dupree’s Boy with a Ball and Rogan Kelly’s Demolition in the Tropics.
