Back in 2007, Seven Kitchens Press launched with a modest, hand-made chapbook: Harry Humes’ Underground Singing, selected by Jeff Mann for the inaugural Keystone Chapbook Prize. It’s a title that holds up well today, and we’re grateful to Harry for helping us lead off with such a memorable chapbook.
So it’s a huge thrill to release the 15th chapbook in the Keystone Series (and our 100th title!): Remorse Code, demi-sonnets by Erin Murphy. Thanks so much to Ellen McGrath Smith for selecting this title.
Congratulations, Ron. Throughout so many life changes you stayed with seven kitchen’s and kept it going. You kept producing fine chapbooks. That’s something to cheer about. Looking forward to your next 100. Good to know you are somewhere in the Milford area. There is a poetry group in Cincy known as Greater Cincinnati Writer’s League. If you’re interested, email me.
All best,
Karen Jaquish
