For everyone who’s ever trusted me to read their poems–for everyone whose work I’ve published–for every person who’s supported Seven Kitchens Press by purchasing our chapbooks or sharing our calls for manuscripts or purchasing even one chapbook–I thank you.
Thanks to the help of some generous friends, I’ll be packing up my car and driving to DC the first of August for the OutWrite Conference: Seven Kitchens Press will have a book table on Saturday, and we’re on a 3pm panel discussing chapbook publishing. If you’re in the DC area, please stop by. And if you’re interested in helping out with the book table, even if only for a little while, please contact us (sevenkitchenspress@gmail.com). Hope to see you there!
July 15 is the last day to send in your manuscript for the Keystone Chapbook Series (for Pennsylvania poets, however you wish to define that term). Don’t miss your chance to join this gallery of amazing poets!
What better day than July 4 to bring out Matt Daly’s new chapbook, Red State, selected by Dan Vera & Ron Mohring as Number 11 in our Rane Arroyo Chapbook Series? Click here to check it out and also read about the release of Matt’s full-length collection, Between Here and Home.
Remember that 100% of all chapbook purchases for the weekend of July 5 – 7 will be donated to Raices in solidarity with Bookstores Against Borders!

During the July 5-7 weekend, Seven Kitchens Press will donate 100% of our chapbook sales to Raices in solidarity with #Bookstores Against Borders, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $50. Please consider donating to this urgent cause, whether through your purchase with 7KP or through a direct donation of any amount to Raices.
Update: Raices is very close to their fundraising goal of $300K. Any amount you can give will help!

If you’re following us on Facebook, you know we’re doing a special 25 x 25 fundraiser for Skull + Wind Press–for every chapbook we sell through May 25, we’re donating 25% to this new press launched by Trevor Ketner, one of our authors.
Today, we’re doubling down: We will donate all funds from every copy we sell of Trevor’s chapbook, Negative of a Photo of Fire, to Skull + Wind Press.
Please join us with your support!
