Scavenge hits third printing

Please join us in congratulating RJ Gibson, whose chapbook, Scavenge, is now in its third printing! Co-winner of the 2009 Robin Becker Prize, this title is one of our best sellers and absolutely deserves its ever-widening readership. We can’t wait till RJ has a full-length book, but till then, we wholeheartedly recommend this collection: 24 pages of smart, sharply observant poems whose titles alone–from “Coming from a Farm” and “Earthly Delights” to “Erotics” to “Ontology: Britney Spears”–let you know you’re in for an original treat. Congrats, RJ!

Catherine Staples chapbook forthcoming: preorder now!

Never a Note Forfeit. Number 8 in the Keystone Chapbook Series and co-winner of the 2010 Keystone Chapbook Prize, selected by guest judge Betsy Sholl, this chapbook is scheduled for publication on July 1. Pre-orders are welcome–please click here.

Gainey nearly sold out

Zowie! The pre-orders have flooded in for Celeste Gainey’s chapbook, and right now we have only three two copies left. If you have placed an order through snailmail, please e-mail us immediately and we’ll hold you a copy: sevenkitchens at yahoo dot com. Once our copies are spoken for, you’ll have to contact Celeste about purchasing directly from the author. Also, this means that if you were planning to buy the whole set–all five titles with free shipping–there are only three two chances left to do so.

Thanks for your overwhelming support of this title, and congratulations to Celeste!
