We are currently accepting submissions for the ReBound Series, which brings a wider readership to out-of-print chapbooks by printing them in snazzy, new, editions. Anyone may nominate an out-of-print chapbook, and you also have the opportunity to write an introductory preface to the new edition. Full guidelines are here. You can also browse (and order!) any of the titles in this important series.
The submission window for the Rane Arroyo Chapbook Prize closes on June 15: just two more days to submit your work! We are so looking forward to reading your poems.
We are now accepting submissions for the 5th annual Robin Becker Chapbook Prize. Manuscripts must be postmarked or e-mailed by April 15–but since the 15th falls on a Sunday this year, the 16th will be just fine. Please help spread the word, and please email us (sevenkitchens at yahoo dot com) if you’d like a postcard!
Happy New Year to all our readers and writers. We’re excited to open our call for submissions to the Editor’s Prize Series–full details can be found here. Manuscripts will be accepted from January 1 until February 15. Please share the word!
While you’re browsing the guidelines, please take a look at our “In Production” tab to check out all the titles we’re launching in 2011, starting with Pedro Ponce’s Homeland: A Panorama in 50 States, due out in early January.
UPDATE: Pedro’s book has been delayed; we’re aiming to release it–at long last–in March. Please check his author page for more news & updates.
Guidelines are now up for the new, revamped Editor’s Prize (click on the “guidelines” tab at our main page). The reading period is January 1 – February 15, so get those chapbooks cookin’, folks.
