Let’s throw open the reading window for this year’s Summer Kitchen Series! You have two weeks–from now through February 14–to send in your chapbook manuscripts. We will select two manuscripts for inclusion in this year’s series, published this summer (hence the name).
What? That’s it! Guidelines are linked above. Dazzle us!
The first dozen manuscripts have come in for the Robin Becker Chapbook Series, and it’s turning out to be a fun and varied read so far. Remember, there’s no reading fee and we’ll be considering manuscripts until May 15, so polish up your work and send it in! Details are here.
Update: Just ten days left to send in your manuscript! Dazzle us!
We’re looking forward to reading your nominations for the ReBound Series, which showcases out-of-print chapbooks in snazzy, new editions in order to bring them to a wider readership. This series depends on you, Dear Readers, so please take a moment to browse your bookshelves and let us know which out-of-print chapbooks you think deserve new life! The fall reading period is August 1 through September 15, and you can find full guidelines here.
It’s February, and we are very open: calling all poets and readers of poetry to nominate your favorite out-of-print chapbooks for publication in fresh, new editions through the Seven Kitchens Press ReBound Series. This window closes on March 15, so click on over to the guidelines and send us your favorite chapbooks!
Due to a significant number of queries regarding the changed deadline (changed from last year), we’re happy to extend the reading period for the annual Rane Arroyo Chapbook Prize: we will continue accepting submissions through October 31. Please note that work will be considered this year only from writers without previous book or chapbook publication. We use a blind-submission process; editors Ron Mohring and Eduardo C. Corral will read every manuscript received and are looking forward to seeing your work! Full guidelines here.
The last day to submit your chapbook manuscript in consideration for the Robin Becker Series is tomorrow, July 31. We’ve so far received a promising array of over 25 manuscripts from writers without previous book or chapbook publication, and we’re looking forward to reading your work! Full guidelines here.
