August is a mad busy month here at Seven Kitchens. Right in the middle of the hot, hot Summer Kitchen Series, we’re releasing our 89th (!) chapbook: Diane LeBlanc’s This Space for Message, with a gorgeous blue cover by Guillermo Castro. We do love blue, and we love Diane’s new collection and think you will, too.
It’s not escaped my attention that I am always saying I’m thrilled to release a new chapbook, but, folks, I am very much that–thrilled–to announce the publication of Drinking the Pink by Priscilla Atkins, Number 2 in this year’s Summer Kitchen Series and the 21st title in that very-limited-edition series. Only 24 copies will be sold by the press; the author gets the other 25.

We are currently accepting submissions for the ReBound Series, which brings a wider readership to out-of-print chapbooks by printing them in snazzy, new, editions. Anyone may nominate an out-of-print chapbook, and you also have the opportunity to write an introductory preface to the new edition. Full guidelines are here. We’re thrilled to announce the release of JeFF Stumpo’s El Océano y la Serpiente / The Ocean and the Serpent, Number 7 in our ReBound Series. Originally published in 2004 by Zenane Independent Media and printed by Tabula Rasa Press, this new edition has been long in the works. Get your copy here.
